Will lived a life full of joy and laughter. He grew up surrounded by love in a warm and caring home in Cohasset, Massachusetts. He loved his small town on the ocean, fully aware of the intimacy, beauty and community it offered. As the protective older brother of Curtis and Corey, they shared an unbreakable bond of family and friendship. Together, they forged countless memories of happy and special times. His home life was even more complete with the arrival of his two dogs, Puck and Lucy. He showered them with attention and affection every time he walked through the door.
Will was curious and kind, athletic and sensitive, cared for others and appreciated the opportunities he had been given in life. He worked tirelessly to achieve his goal of playing college hockey and was so proud to call himself a Skidmore College Thoroughbred. Winter after winter, Will could be found outside with his brother Curtis, skating for hours on the rink his dad Shaun lovingly constructed for them. He loved to relive the moments of his illustrious lacrosse career at Cohasset high school. The 2014 Cohasset state championship was considered to be one of “his best days ever.” Will gave of himself by volunteering for the less fortunate. He volunteered with the homeless and the people of Appalachia, whom he served through the Cohasset ASP project. He loved to mentor young children and spent many summers helping run backyard camps with his brother Curtis. Will was a beloved babysitter in his neighborhood and spent many afternoons at the town pool or on Milliken field with the local kids leading games of pickle. Will also refereed youth hockey and served as a coach for Cohasset’s youth lacrosse program.
Will had a protective nature, a loyalty and love of family and friends, an energetic zest for life and a shining smile that brought happiness to so many. To know Will was to love Will. Forever in our hearts, we hope this page will help to keep us all connected to him in memory and in spirit.
